Title of Project:
Regulator of G-protein Signaling (RGS) protein regulation of Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling in ovarian cancer: Mechanisms and Specificity.

Aims of Project:

To identify individual RGS proteins that inhibit LPA stimulated growth and migration in ovarian cancer cells.
To use RGS mutant constructs with specific functional defects to determine the mechanism of RGS regulation of LPA activity.
To define the selectivity of RGS proteins for distinct LPA receptor signaling pathways and the mechanism of such specificity.
